Sur la rive droite de la Seine, plusieurs \u00e9poques de Paris \u00e9taient <\/strong>repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es.
Les visiteurs pouvaient arpenter les vieilles rues \u00e9troites bord\u00e9es de maisons, boutiques, \u00e9coles \u00e9glises, h\u00f4tels et monuments.
Ils pouvaient entrer et visiter chaque b\u00e2timent qui \u00e9tait occup\u00e9 par de jolies marchandes et des gens de m\u00e9tiers en costume d’\u00e9poque.

Albert Robida (1848-1926), caricaturiste, journaliste, romancier imagina la reproduction du Paris du Moyen \u00e2ge jusqu\u2019au XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle pour\u00a0 \u00a0 l\u2019exposition universelle de Paris en 1900.<\/strong>
Il assurera la conception des b\u00e2timents, la d\u00e9coration… de main de ma\u00eetre pour cette attraction \u00ab Le Vieux Paris \u00bb, qui sera autofinanc\u00e9 en raison de son immense succ\u00e8s.
Ce sont, ing\u00e9nieusement group\u00e9s pour l’effet \u00a0g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, la Porte Saint-Michel, la Tour du Louvre, l\u2019\u00c9glise St-Julien-des-M\u00e9n\u00e9triers, les Anciennes \u00a0Halles, le Grand Ch\u00e2telet, le Palais, la Tour de l\u2019Achev\u00each\u00e9.

L'attraction Le Vieux Paris construit sur la Seine<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

L\u2019emplacement du Vieux Paris sur la rive droite de la Seine au quai Billy, pr\u00e8s du pont de l\u2019Alma\u00a0 occupe un vaste espace comprenant une large emprise sur la Seine. La plate-forme lacustre constituant le plancher du Vieux Paris, repr\u00e9sente une surface d’environ 6 000 m2 avec pr\u00e8s de 200 m de fa\u00e7ade. La surface totale occupera 260 m le long de la Seine sur 30 m de large.
<\/strong>Ce sont 900 pieux de 10 \u00e0 15 m de long, et mesurant jusque 1 m de circonf\u00e9rence . Ces pieux sont enfonc\u00e9s jusqu\u2019\u00e0 \u00a0refus, c’est-\u00e0-dire de 2m,60 \u00e0 5m,90, traversant une couche d\u2019eau de\u00a0 l m,70 \u00e0 5 m,40 selon l\u2019inclinaison du lit de la Seine.<\/strong>
Une sonnette de battage laisse tomber autant de fois que n\u00e9cessaire le mouton de 1 000 kg pour enfoncer le pieu.

Oui, les cavaliers et les belles dames continuent de s\u2019aborder, avec force r\u00e9verence, sur la place du Pr\u00e9-aux-Clercs, un des coins les plus pittoresques du Vieux paris. C\u2019\u00e9tait l\u2019\u00e9glise de la Confr\u00e9rie des jongleurs m\u00e9nestrels, plus tard de la Corporation des musiciens. Elle fut fond\u00e9e en la grande rue Saint-Martin, au milieu du XIVe si\u00e8cle.<\/strong>
